Current pros or semi pros wanting extra training or young adults wanting to realise their potential and see where it takes them.
Many of MEGAs senior Gks are amateur Gks who have never experienced professional training sessions and book a session to improve on particular techniques or want to learn how to be more effective with their existing techniques.
They also join to try and become ‘goalkeeper’ fit! Goalkeeping fitness is very different to outfield player fitness or general fitness. You might be able to do a session in the gym or run 5k but the fitness work a keeper needs to do will blow that out of the water! Upper body, legs, foot speed, hand speed, core, up downs, spring, flexibility work,………all while maintaining good technique and handling decisions.
As well as one on one technical sessions, Mega can now offer group sessions for adults. This will increase competitiveness and also phases of play and small sided games can be worked on which is very important to develop communication, distribution and decision making.
